Fri - Feb. 8, '18 Litter drill all morning lectures this afternoon and hike for an hour get a letter from B_ without any good news and mail it. go to bed early. Thu - Feb. 7, '18 set up a field hospital I acted as a wounded patient. stay out all day. write a letter to B this evening. read awhile and go to bed. |
Sat - Feb. 9, '18 Inspection first thing this morning, get ready to go to Portland. take the train at 10:10 got to Po_ at 3:40 get the train to Dundee at 3:50 and walked up the hill mother & sis went with me then went to a dance and had a fine time, got to bed about 1:00 A.M. Sun - Feb. 10, '18 got up about 7:30 set around the house most of the day mother & sis took the early train to Portland and I stayed and came in with Francis. B_ and I rounded up a rooster and shot... |
